Marketing, Communications, and Technology Intern

myTEAM TRIUMPH (mTT) Wisconsin is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing enriching experiences for individuals with disabilities through the teamwork of endurance athletics. We promote inclusivity, empowerment, and community engagement by pairing Captains (athletes with disabilities) with Angels (able-bodied athletes) to compete in races together.

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and creative intern to assist with marketing, communications, and technology efforts. This role is ideal for a student or recent graduate eager to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, content creation, social media management, and technology support within a non-profit organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and executing marketing campaigns to promote events, programs, and fundraising initiatives.
  • Manage and create content for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok).
  • Design and update marketing materials such as flyers, brochures, and event signage.
  • Help maintain and update the website with news, event details, and success stories.
  • Support email marketing campaigns, including newsletter creation and distribution.
  • Capture and edit photos and videos from events to use in promotional materials.
  • Assist with database management and CRM updates to enhance communication strategies.
  • Provide basic technical support for virtual meetings and online platforms.
  • Research industry trends and best practices to enhance outreach efforts.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with social media platforms and content creation tools
  • Basic knowledge of website management
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Passion for inclusion, adaptive sports, and community engagement.
