Public Works Recycling Campaign Intern

The overall goal of the City’s recycling contamination campaign is to reduce the City’s curbside recycling contamination rate from 25% to 10%. One of the most effective ways to reach people is by completing direct curbside recycling cart audits or by educating children. A reduced contamination rate provides significant environmental benefits.

This internship is an extension of academic instruction and provides the opportunity to turn classroom instruction into practical application in the workplace.
