Accounting Intern

Kwik Trip, Inc. operates Kwik Trip, Kwik Star, Stop-N-Go, and Tobacco Outlet Plus Grocery  in Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa with approximately 30,000 co-workers company wide. Our Retail Accounting Department has an opportunity for an individual with accounting related skills. This highly self-motivated individual will have the opportunity to complete a variety of responsibilities including:

• Audit our Stores Daily Bookwork
• Other miscellaneous duties as needed

Qualifications:  This individual must possess a friendly and outgoing personality and have demonstrated the following in previous employment:

• High level of customer service
• Organized and detail orientated as well as possess excellent math skills
• Ability to work with a variety of individuals from executives to co-workers
• Demonstrated level of confidentiality and professionalism
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
• Ability to identify and complete tasks without direct supervision
• Operate personal computers with excellent typing and 10 key punch skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products with proficiency in Word, Access, Excel, and Outlook
• Knowledge of Onbase is preferred, but not required

Applicants must be currently attending school for Accounting or a degree similar in nature and must be in good standing.  Ability to lift approximately 30 lbs occasionally.

Work schedule:  This is a paid internship. Interested applicants must be willing to work 25 hours per week, and it is important to note that we offer flexibility with school scheduling.
