Salary Range: $69,056.00 - $84,032.00 annually

Location: Dade City 
Hours: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. 
Reports To: Director of Technology Services 
Agency: Mike Wells Property Appraiser, Pasco County, Florida

The ideal Programmer Analyst II candidate will possess a demonstrated proficiency in full stack application development and be comfortable working independently and as a team on tasks that require excellent analytical and development skills. The Programmer Analyst II works under supervision of the Director of Technology Services to develop, implement, and maintain software applications for our fast-paced, growing team. As you demonstrate your adaptability and proficiency while contributing to the success of our team, you will have the opportunity for career growth and advancement.

Essential Job Functions:  

  • Designs and implements applications, proof of concept development, and provide support and maintenance for production systems.
  • Develops and maintains applications by evaluating organizational needs, analyzing requirements, and developing software systems.
  • Processes large datasets in a relational database and converts data between various data formats for third-party integration.
  • Converts data between different data formats for third-party integration.
  • Develops and maintains Power BI reports, dashboards, and related solutions to support data analysis and decision-making processes.
  • Assists in application testing and quality assurance processes.
  • Provides end user training and support for applications.
  • Documents new and existing systems, workflows, and processes.
  • Stays current with software development trends and best practices.

Minimum Requirements:

PHYSICAL SKILLS: 

  • Requires sitting for extended periods
  • Ability to communicate effectively using verbal, written, and visual communication.

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum 3 years of full stack application development in a .NET environment.

Required Qualifications:
• Proficient with C#, VB.NET, or Java programming languages.
• Proficient with web design using ASP.NET, JavaScript, CSS and HTML5.
• Proficient with Microsoft SQL Server to import, export and query data.
• Ability to work efficiently with Agile and RAD development methodologies.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft SQL Server, including T-SQL, SSRS, and SSIS.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Proficient with PowerShell, VBScript, and Python.
• Proficient in creating SQL database tables, indexes, keys, views, etc.
• Experience leading or contributing to AI/ML projects that have had a significant impact on     business outcomes.

  • Must possess a valid Florida driver's license.
