The Tax Administration Services Bureau within the Michigan Department of Treasury is seeking a dynamic leader to manage the administration of its Individual Income Tax Return Processing Section.  Primary responsibilities of the Return Processing Section include:
 

  • The accurate and efficient review and validation of Individual Income Tax, Composite, Fiduciary and Farmland filings, forecasting and establishing multiple production goals for tax processing staff.
  • Identification and coordination of training needs for a staff of 50+ dedicated staff, and direct oversight and leadership for multiple Supervisor and Analyst/Technician experts.

Education 
Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major.

Experience

Note:  Experience is considered professional if the job requires a bachelor's degree.

Four years of professional experience, including two years equivalent to the experienced (P11) level or one year equivalent to the advanced (12) level.
