Human Resources Director

This department head position plans, directs and coordinates all human resource functions of the County to include labor relations, collective bargaining, job description development, personnel policy development and administration; employee orientation wage/salary administration, job analysis and evaluation, equal opportunity/affirmative action, personnel record keeping, department budget; advisor to County Board of Supervisors, department heads, and employees regarding all facets of personnel matters; manage promotion/transfer/separation processing; workers compensation as well as other administrative and management functions.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:  Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field; a minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in the Human Resources field including two (2) years of management/supervisor experience.  Experience in working with union negotiations and labor relations preferred. 

 

SALARY & BENEFITS:  $93,724 - $107,120 based upon qualifications, plus excellent County benefits package and State retirement.
