ADRC Student Outreach Worker
- Creates written and visual content for outreach projects. Assists with production of Our Voices Indigenous newsletter by interviewing participants on subject matter, writing compelling articles and creating layout for print.
- Support program’s recruitment and retention efforts via varied communication types like face-to-face interaction, email or mailings. Set up and take down at events. Pick up needed support items.
- Sends, receives, copies, and distributes communications to the appropriate entities according to established policies and procedures.
- Interact appropriately with Indigenous people who have dementia or mild cognitive impairment.
- Catalog resources by organizing forms, outreach printed material, and promotional items.
- Tracks, stocks, and monitors office supplies to ensure adequate materials are available for workplace operation.
- Identify needs or opportunities for Alzheimer’s outreach.
- Maintains appropriate housekeeping in office areas.
