Become part of the 2020-2021 Intermountain AmeriCorps team! Impact communities in North Central Washington through full-time service with area non-profit organizations, schools, and other educational settings. Intermountain AmeriCorps Intermountain AmeriCorps is a part of a national service movement striving to rebuild communities while broadening educational and life skills opportunities for citizens.

Individuals serving with Intermountain AmeriCorps serve for 10.5 months with a nonprofit in North Central Washington providing services that have a direct and immediate impact on communities in need. Our available positions include serving with organizations like the Wenatchee School District helping youth improve academically, primarily through tutoring. Other positions serve low-income families connecting them to vital resources like health-care, nutrition, and English as a Second Language Classes.

Members receive a $1500 living stipend per month; $6,095 education award upon successful completion,10.5 month service term; student loan forbearance; basic health insurance; childcare, if eligible; training and experience. Service term begins in September 2020 and ends on on July 15, 2021.
