Spend Efficiency and Management Intern - Hybrid

The Spend Efficiency and Management teams’ function is to work to ensure that the Enterprise maximizes investments in Software, Hardware Cloud and Labor. This role will help manage the end-to-end Lifecycle of our software and hardware investments, provide ideas and support on how to improve the asset management processes, as well as managing the accurate recording of IT hardware and software into ServiceNow (our Enterprise Asset Management tool). 
  
This internship will be available June to August 2023. It is a hybrid role, meaning you must be located within a drivable distance to our corporate office in Richfield, Minnesota. This role will primarily work remotely, but the team is located in Minnesota, and you may be asked to come to the office on occasion.

What you’ll do
  • Update process documentation for the Enterprise Asset Management function
  • Review/update records in Asset Management database for data quality
  • Assists in creation of monthly and quarterly dashboards for various portfolios: Hardware Maintenance, Software Maintenance and Lease portfolio
  • Research contract documentation for data points to enhance validation of terms and conditions related to Hardware, Software and SaaS portfolios
  • Assist in reviewing and gathering requested data for software license audits
  • Assist with the reconciliation of software license entitlements
  • Assist with the financial reconciliation of large vendor payment issues
  • Assist the CSEM with spend reporting, tracking optimization opportunities and governance activities
Basic Qualifications
  • Must be pursuing a bootcamp, certificate, associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, graduating between fall 2023­­ and spring 2026
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization (F-1 students with practical training and candidates requiring H-1Bs, TNs, etc., will not be considered)
  • Must have strong communication skills (written and oral)

  • Detail oriented as many tasks are working within our system of record
  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills
