INTERN - Legislative Program Policy Intern

WHEDA seeks a Graduate level student for a Federal Policy Internship. The position of the Legislative Program Policy Intern is responsible for monitoring federal legislation, assisting with the creation and implementation of a federal legislative strategy, creating and analyzing materials to support WHEDA’s position on legislation, building engagement and material with stakeholders and allies, and developing materials for an affordable housing Legislative Conference in Washington, D.C.

Position Details
  • 10 hours / week for 14 weeks of spring semester
  • Option to continue internship through summer 2023
  • $20/ hour
  • Travel to Washington, D.C., March 27-29, 2023

Work Environment 
  • Office setting, with stairs and elevator
  • Access to office exercise facilities
  • May have opportunity for remote/telework/flex scheduling, as determined by business needs
  • Some travel included, as determined by position needs
