Entry Level Engineering Technologist
The Naval Nuclear Laboratory (NNL) is seeking an entry level engineering technologist for the Facilities Organization at the Naval Reactors Facility. The selected candidate will be part of a diverse group assigned to a variety of tasks to support reduction of system and building and infrastructure deficiencies. Scoping, troubleshooting, development of work instructions and generating supporting documents will be part of daily duties. Additional duties such as generating preventative maintenance instructions, manual review and updates, and working to a schedule to support site priorities, are key to the NNL mission.
REQUIRED SKILLS *
Associate:
High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of six years of relevant experience; or
Associate degree in technical, engineering, or science-related discipline from an accredited college or university and a minimum of two years of relevant experience
Intermediate:
High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of eight years of relevant experience; or
Associate degree in technical, engineering, or science-related discipline from an accredited college or university and a minimum of four years of relevant experience; or
Bachelor degree in technical, engineering, or science-related discipline from an accredited college or university
Ability to qualify as ERW and EEW.
Proficient in Microsoft applications including, power point, word and excel.
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Knowledgeable in scheduling software and tools.
- Knowledgeable working with and manipulating databases.
- Knowledgeable of IBM Tririga.
