Professionals within our Marketing and Communications, Information Technology, Finance and Accounting, Human Resources, Office Infrastructure, Legal, and Real Estate teams are dedicated to working together and delivering world class support across our global community.

Primary Duties: 
Participate in General ledger accounting activities and Month end close tasks, primarily recording Journal entries and record keeping of fixed assets, prepaids, accruals, software capitalizations, payroll, and benefits for FTI’s operating segments. This position will also prepare account reconciliations accounting analysis and schedules to key segment finance personnel for tracking and management decision making purposes.

Monthly Accounting Close Tasks
  • Prepare and post journal entries as assigned, including but not limited to Cash, variable compensation accruals, reserve analyses, depreciation, transfers of assets from CIP to in-service, software capitalization of R&D, allocation of building costs and depreciation for the operating segments in the US and Canada, shared office accruals, prepaid expenses, and expense accruals.
  • Prepare balance sheet and bank account reconciliations for assigned accounts.
  • Assist corporate overhead departments with proper coding of invoices and expenses.
  • Assist with General Ledger maintenance and Chart of Accounts updates, including adding new account combinations, new legal entity creation, new natural account creation, and maintain online reference tools including the chart of accounts and valid general ledger account combinations. 
  • Other duties as directed by the Manager, NACA Accounting.

Management Reporting and Budgeting
  • Assist with monthly and quarterly GL accounts roll-forwards and supporting schedules as assigned, including but not limited to; Fixed assets, Bonus, lease related accounts and etc

Basic Qualifications: 
  • Pursuing a degree in Accounting with plans on obtaining your CPA
  • Minimum 3.0 Cumulative GPA
  • Permanent US work authorization
  • Travel required to FTI office(s).
