We are seeking gallery guards to be in the Lawton Gallery (in Theatre Hall)! Lawton Gallery hours are 10am-3pm- Monday-Saturday during the semester, and during additional events in the University Theater.

Gallery guards may be the only person that a visitor to the gallery comes in contact with. We're looking for someone who is approachable and courteous, and is interested in areas of the arts, communication, education, and/or related topics to museums and galleries.

Guards are responsible for answering questions, minor cleaning and tidying, helping during events, protecting the artwork and displays, making sure that the gallery is open and accessible, and monitoring and guiding visitors and occasional school groups.

Gallery guards are overseen by the Curator and Assistant Curator of the Lawton Gallery, who are able to assist with large groups and events.
