Marketing Product Coordinator

NAStar Inc., a 33-year-old manufacturer of specialty self-adhesive products serving the print, restaurant, retail, and advertising industry, is offering a Product Marketing Coordinator position.

The candidate may be an individual with a sales support background desiring more marketing and direct customer contact or a recent college graduate who studied business seeking a position with front-line client involvement.  The individual will learn NAStar’s style of customer service, outbound prospecting, and field sales while executing and implementing the organization’s marketing programs.

Job Activities and Responsibilities will include:

·       Customer Contact

o  Direct field calling as product champion for market segment such as restaurant and/or retail.

o  Inside sales activity through various communication types to customer base

·       Assist Director of Marketing with new market and product development projects

o  Develop with Marketing Director, email marketing program to various market segments

·       Assist Sales Operations with first line customer support and order processing

o  Customer product assistance including product application recommendations and providing price quotations, order processing, and logistics.

o  Fulfill sample requests and be responsible for the sample room inventory and upkeep

·       Marketing Communications

o  Maintain several company websites including making regular updates and writing copy

o  Assist in the development of printed sales collateral materials and press releases. Experience with Photoshop and/or Adobe InDesign preferred.

We are a provider of hands-on training and development. The successful candidate will gain knowledge of Flexographic Printing, Retail Shelf Edge Marking, Quick Service Restaurants/Food Safety, and Commercial Print Media Markets (Newspapers, Direct Mail, Circular Printers).

Reports to: Director of Marketing. Interfaces regularly with: President, Sales, Customer Service
