JOB TITLE: Associate Producer

FOX6 Milwaukee is looking for an Associate Producer to join our award-winning news team! The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a strong commitment to writing, accuracy and detail. You must also have strong time management skills.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Associate Producers help the broadcast and digital producers and assignment editors in all areas of their work: writing, tracking down information via phone or online, posting material to our digital platforms and do whatever is needed so the newscast and digital platforms can sparkle and shine! You will work our weekend assignment desk and do fill-in work as a newscast producer and digital producer. We have a long history of successfully mentoring people to take on one of these positions! 
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
If you have a passion for quality, teamwork and you strive for excellence every single day, then this might be the place for you! A bachelor’s degree in journalism or communications is required; previous experience in a TV newsroom as a broadcast news producer, digital producer or assignment editor is preferred.
