Starting Rate: $56,250.29
The Franklin County Children and Youth solicitor represents the Franklin County Children & Youth Service and is involved in all aspects of litigation, which arise under the Juvenile Act, the Child Protective Services Law, the Adoption and Safe Families Act, and parental termination proceedings under the Adoption Act. Additionally, the solicitor represents the agency in appeals before administrative agencies and Courts in proceedings arising under these laws and applicable state and federal regulations. The solicitor will also represent the Children & Youth Service in budgetary matters before appropriate agencies Requirements include: Candidates must possess a Juris Doctorate Degree, be licensed to practice law and admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar. 1 – 3 years of experience in family law and/or child welfare/dependency court matters.
