Business Development Representative (Inside Sales) (Remote)

As a Business Development Representative(Inside Sales), you will be responsible for developing new and qualifying new leads, communicating with customers, understanding their needs, and ensuring a smooth sales process. You should be able to build instant rapport and achieve customer satisfaction satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive campaigns, both cold-calling and email, to generate qualified leads and schedule meetings for Carta subject matter experts (SME)
  • Understand client needs and offer solutions and support as well as identify sales opportunities
  • Tracking weekly, monthly and quarterly performance and sales metrics 
  • Create and maintain a database of customers and pipeline management in HubSpot
  • Track sales cycle progress on a monthly and quarterly basis to make sure customer acquisition goals are me
  • Assist in sales process to qualify leads and generate new business 
  • Presenting and delivering information to potential clients 
  • Work closely with marketing and other essential business functions 

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 3-5 years of experience in an inside sales or similar, client facing role
  • Preferred experience in the healthcare industry/clinical data is a plus
  • Experience with Hubspot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo (or similar tools)
  • Demonstrated ability to cold-call and prospect new business
  • History of self-motivation and exceptional drive
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • High level of organization skills and the ability to juggle multiple processes with minimal supervision
  • Experience using Hubspot 
  • Energy, enthusiasm, humor, and compassion
  • Willingness to travel, post-pandemic
