Inside Sales Representative internship:

The Inside Sales Intern at Alta is an All-Star. Someone who is ready to handle hot leads and convert them into customers. They must be goal-oriented and willing to reach outside of their comfort zone to accomplish personal and team goals. They are eager to help as many people sign up for quality service as possible. They are trust-worthy and honest in their communicating and reporting. The Inside Sales Representative will be trainable and ready to hit the phones when their training process is complete. The rep will enjoy communicating with potential customers and build relationships to convey the quality service we offer. They thrive off of a positive team culture and like to have fun. They are able to handle rejection and apply training to overcome these lows in the position. They are professional and willing to get better every single day to make this a great position for their career goals. 

About Alta Pest Control:

Alta was established in 2013. After being in the industry for years and with multiple companies, the owners decided to break loose from big corporations and build their own small business. After college, they took all the good and the bad they learned along the way to create Alta. The owners are brothers who were taught honesty, hard work, and serving others by their parents. Alta Pest Control is a family-owned business that is proud to provide residential pest control to customers in Washington, Kansas, Oklahoma, Idaho, Texas, Maryland and Virginia.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Receiving inbound calls from hot leads and converting them into customers. 
  • Outbound calls to hot leads.
  • Tracking and monitoring KPI’s.
  • Adaptable to change as we continue to grow.
  • Resolving/overcoming customer concerns & objections.


Desired Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Sales experience preferred.
  • 1+ years of customer service is required.
  • Working full-time with a 5-day work week, some Saturday shifts will be required in summer months.
  • Reliability, high energy and great work ethic are a must.
  • Training skills and experience. 
  • Must be willing to adapt to change as we grow.
