Entry Level Account Specialist/Technical Sales Engineer (Based in Waukesha, WI with travel)
The Gund Company is in the business to deliver custom composite and non-metallic material solutions for industries ranging from Aerospace to Electrical to Medical Manufacturing.
The Gund Company is looking for consultative Technical Sales Engineering candidates with a strong educational background, outstanding communication and connection skills, a track record for excellence in what they do, and eager to grow a sales territory.
The role will begin with our 6-9 month Sales Engineering Development Program, to develop consultative problem solvers for our customers.
This position will be based at our facility in Waukesha with travel up to 33% of the time (Post-COVID).
Local candidates in the Greater Milwaukee area with an engineering background are preferred.

Job Summary
The Account Specialist/Technical Sales Engineer is responsible for the proactive development of customer relationships and sales generation by understanding and maximizing customer and prospect product and service requirements. The Account Specialist/Technical Sales Engineer manages the order acquisition process for assigned customers while pursuing opportunities for expanded sales volume, delivering consultative technical solutions.
Qualifications & Competencies:
- Strong and extroverted interpersonal communication skills to maximize customer interactions.
- Ability to utilize critical thinking to identify and implement strategies that create competitive advantage in the market.
- Ability to utilize a CRM package and other tools to manage the sales process.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Ability to travel up to 33% (post COVID)
Education and Experience:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering preferred.
- Sales experience in some fashion
