Procter & Gamble’s Corporate Engineering organization has an immediate opening for a Research & Development Technical Leader in Natural Materials Innovation at its West Chester, Ohio site to develop natural and sustainable products, processes, and packages. The successful candidate will join a dynamic, lean team where teamwork and individual initiative are highly valued! The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of chemistry, and a passion for natural and sustainable materials. In this role, the candidate will work “hands on” in the lab to drive key innovative scientific concepts by developing experimental ideas and delivering high quality data that support timely decisions for projects and advancing R&D programs. He/she will stay connected to the relative technology fields of interest, both internally and externally, to bring novel ideas and/or leverage external partners to bring innovation.

* PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline

* Passion for learning and exploring new technologies, while able to bring ideas to practical application

* Ability to adapt to changing requirements and work across multiple technical challenges in parallel

* Ability to collaborate across diverse organization to solve difficult technical challenges

* Excellent written and oral communication

* Experience with natural materials, food science, surfactants, and/or polymers would be beneficial
