IT Integration Architect Intern (Summer 2021)

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Dive deep into the nature of the architectural challenge that we are trying to solve in a given context
  • Carry out extensive research, and establish the best possible architectural approach for solving a problem in hand
  • On an as-needed basis, perform Proof of Concept in an efficient and targeted fashion to land answers for some of the key architecture related questions. This should pave way for making an informed and fact-based recommendation
  • Present architectural recommendations in a cohesive and concise fashion using relevant diagrams (dataflow, component, swim lane, etc.)
  • Ability to operate in a very hands-on fashion as we are trying to make a cultural shift in this direction at every level

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Passion for hands-on software development
  • Understanding of architectural principles (i.e. TOGAF)
  • Understanding of software integration (SOAP, REST, XML, JSON)
  • Excellent testing (unit testing in particular) skills
  • Understanding of Salesforce
  • Understanding of MuleSoft
  • Mobile development knowledge specifically using React Native framework
  • Diagramming and modeling experience
  • Object Oriented Programming skills (C#, Java)
  • Understanding of Big Data technology concepts and technologies (NoSQL, Hadoop, etc.)
  • Experience in Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning would be a plus

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Pursuing Bachelors or Masters in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Preferably a rising junior or senior
