Operations Management Summer Internship

Summary
As the Operations Management Internship, you will be assisting the VP of Operations on all day-to-day tasks to ensure the day-to-day operational success of DeliverThat. This will include marketing, logistics, and technological support in addition to various administrative duties. The goal of this internship is to provide a full understanding of the business operations and management of a small to mid-sized company. Interns will leave with a firm grasp of technology, communication, and the strategy of DeliverThat.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Dispatch and logistic support
  • Route future deliveries
  • Assist in driver support for ongoing deliveries
  • Maintain software integration for the logistics team

Recruiting
  • Support driver candidates and recruiters
  • Maintain integrations for automation
  • Assist in forecasting and new market launches

Business Development
  • Assist in the onboarding of new partners
  • Ensure new partner success and integration
  • Prioritize partners as communicated from Business Development
  • Support account growth through quality and fulfillment

Marketing
  • Assist in executing the 2021 marketing goals
  • Work with the marketing team to execute targeted driver ads
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned 

Qualifications
Must have excellent communication, organization, prioritization, and multitasking skills. Ability to remain composed in stressful situations. Ability to work with little or no direct supervision. Thorough knowledge of Microsoft and Office and Google Business Suites. A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred. Previous job experience in the current environment is preferable.
