Endowment Wealth Management, Inc and its affiliate, ETF Model Solutions, LLC are offering a Finance and Investments internship opportunity for summer 2022 to assist with our growing Investment Advisory and Investment Management organizations. The paid position(s), located in our corporate headquarters in Appleton WI, will challenge you to apply your classroom work in a real-world environment supporting our credentialed, experienced investment advisory and management team.
The internship(s) will involve tasks and activities covering a variety of business functions, including venture capital and private equity investments, financial and retirement planning, performance reporting, index construction, alternative investments, due diligence research, marketing (through traditional and digital channels), technology, and compliance. Students pursuing a career in financial planning, investment advisory, and/or investment research & management are encouraged to apply.
This position will allow you to gain professional work experience in an area related to your degree, learn from other professionals, benefit from a team experience, and cultivate a professional network.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
This position may include, but is not limited to the following:
- Assist with various tasks related to our private funds management
- Conduct basic due diligence on external money managers, private investments, and ETFs
- Marketing collateral development, including fact sheets, investment summaries, power points, multimedia content
- Utilize your knowledge and interest in finance and investments to assist in creating compelling professional content and facilitate delivery of that content through various channels, including our e-newsletters, websites, blogs, social media outlets, public relations, and traditional media
- Prospect/lead development tasks including sourcing leads from various social media channels, maintaining CRM and follow-up
- Develop marketing databases, research industry trends and competitors
- Download and organize investment performance data to create charts, tables and other content for inclusion in marketing content. Upload/post performance data to various institutional and reporting databases
- Collect and organize various asset allocation reporting data
- Assist with wealth plan development
- Miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business and have completed their junior year of course work with a targeted emphasis in Finance, Economics, Entrepreneurship, or related course of study
- GPA 3.5+
- Excellent mathematical/analytics skill set
- Excellent written and verbal communication, including proficiency in use of English language, writing, editing and proofreading
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher)
- Availability to work full time hours from our Appleton, WI headquarters during the summer of 2022.
- Students with an interest or basic understanding of investments/business are most likely to benefit from the position.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Completed advanced business/finance courses
- Previous work history in finance/banking/sales or professional environment
- Be working towards or considering a career in investment advisory or investment management industry
- Seeking to become a CFP and/or CFA candidate
- Currently reside in the Fox Valley or surrounding area (Green Bay/Oshkosh)
- Possess a strong attention to detail and proven ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Strong planning, organizational and problem solving skills
This is an internship position for temporary full-time employment from May-August 2022. Possible part-time continuation through 2022-23 school year. This position will allow you to gain professional work experience in an area related to your degree, learn from other professionals and benefit from a team experience, and cultivate a professional network that will be beneficial after graduation.
