Sales & Operations Internship
Founded in 1957, Consolidated Electrical Distributors (CED) is a privately held nationwide wholesale supplier of electrical and lighting products with over 700 locations.
This internship in Sales and Operations allows the successful candidate to learn the electrical wholesale business through experiencing every aspect of one of our “profit center” business units. This position provides an opportunity to make a tangible impact on a growing business and learn valuable business development skills in a hands on setting. You will learn the skills you need to greatly contribute to a growing business and take on increasing responsibility.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Inside Sales
- Customer Service
- Management Business Analysis
- Developing Product Knowledge
- Inventory Management
- Process Improvement
- Warehouse Operations
- Purchasing
- Accounting Operations
- Digital Initiatives & Marketing (Customer Portal Maintenance, Mobile App, etc.)
The successful candidate should have:
- Sales skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal/written)
- Willingness to take on a variety of tasks
- Entrepreneurial minded
- Strong leadership
Work Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
