Hydrologist Engineer Intern

Summary
Responsible for developing mechanisms for pen cage systems to increase flow during low-flow periods in the summer months. You will use draw on your ability to assess and solve problems to determine which mechanism performs best based on your evaluations, presenting your findings to the team while including costs of implementation.

Nespelem, WA

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include but not limited to:
  • Be a role model in projecting and applying The Pacific Group Diamond Philosophy (Productivity, Quality, Excellence and Teamwork) and promote teamwork at all times.
  • Report on flow data from Grand Coulee Dam and the Army Corp of Engineers
  • Monitor flows during project set-up
  • Prepare project overview and present findings to executive leadership
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to successfully perform the job.

Education and Experience
Required:
  • Pursuit of an undergraduate or graduate degree
  • Degree in or relevant coursework in hydrology or engineering

Preferred:
  • Targeted graduation of June 2021 or earlier
  • Fabrication and welding skills
  • Experience in drawing schematic diagrams
