Human Resources Communications Intern

Summary
Responsible for working with the HR team to revamp the company's onboarding process and identify better ways to communicate with out teams using our current tools. The intern will help the company better become the "Employer of Choice."

Location
Clackamas, OR

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include but not limited to:
  • Be a role model in projecting and applying The Pacific Group Diamond Philosophy (Productivity, Quality, Excellence and Teamwork) and promote teamwork at all times.
  • Revamp HR's intranet presence for the company
  • Updating onboarding presentations templates
  • Perform market research on best practices in creating job applications, HR communication strategies, and other identified areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with team and management to recommend and implement process changes
  • Prepare project overview and present findings to executive leadership
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to successfully perform the job.

Education and Experience
Required:
  • Pursuit of an undergraduate or graduate degree
  • Degree or extensive coursework in Human Resources, Communications, or Marketing

Preferred:
  • Targeted graduation of June 2021 or earlier
  • Combined knowledge of/experience in Communication and HR
