GENERAL SUMMARY
 
Ensure normal operation of slot machines through the ability to set up, take down, troubleshoot, and repair machines as necessary. Consistently provide excellent guest service skills by greeting and communicating with guests in a professional and courteous manner.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide outstanding customer service to give each guest the best possible entertainment experience.
  • Responsible for the repair and proper maintenance of all slot machines, including overhauls, etc.
  • Investigate daily variance, conduct weekly meter readings and maintain paperwork as required.
  • Troubleshoot and repair game malfunctions as they occur.
  • Replace all monitors, MPU boards, I/O boards, driver boards and integrated circuits as needed.
  • Install, convert, upgrade, move, and remove slot machines as needed.
  • Perform engineering upgrades to games as directed by the Slot Manager. 
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of the present product line.
  • Provide game documentation as required by regulation and Internal Controls.
  • Create and maintain slot files.
  • Assist in maintaining parts inventory
  • Assist in ensuring machine integrity when jackpots occur, as needed. 
  • Maintain electronic game/MSD inventory, as well as all other physical or electronic data bases.
  • Cross-train to work the slot floor as needed.
  • Preventative maintenance of machines must be completed according to the machine maintenance log and Slot Department guidelines as needed.
  • All other duties as assigned.
 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • One year certificate in Computer Science or related field is preferred.
  • Two years verifiable experience with electronic gaming equipment maintenance is preferred.
  • Ability to uphold complete confidentiality is required.
  • Must display constant professionalism when representing PCCH.
  • Must work well with people and possess excellent customer service skills and sensitivity to diverse cultures.
  • Must possess strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to maintain accuracy is required.
  • The ability to maintain a professional demeanor in stressful situations is necessary.
 

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

  • Must be at least 18 years old and have no misdemeanor or felony convictions involving theft, fraud, or embezzlement.
  • Must pass pre-employment and random drug testing.
  • Must obtain and maintain Gaming License issued by Forest County Potawatomi Gaming Commission.
  • Must satisfactorily complete an introductory period.
  • Must know and abide by all PCCH policies and procedures to include safety rules and regulations.
  • Must successfully complete Title 31 training as outlined in the Title 31 Compliance Program.
  • Must be available to work flexible shifts.
  • Must be willing and able to attend/travel to training, seminars and meetings, as requested, both on- and off‑site, including possible attendance during unscheduled hours.
