Behavioral Health Therapist Intern

This is the perfect opportunity for an aspiring therapist to gain experience addressing a wide range of diagnoses in the local community, for those who often times cannot afford this support elsewhere. At Catholic Charities, our Behavioral Health/Counseling Services recognize the added challenges for people living in poverty. We are committed to serving clients of all faiths and backgrounds.
As a Behavioral Health Intern, you will gain experience by providing in-office psychotherapy, counseling, and other related services to individuals, couples, families and groups under the supervision of one of our experienced Therapists. You will also have the opportunity to regularly collaborate with other programs within the Agency to provide support to achieve both client and program goals.
Interns are required to have completed or are enrolled in a Master’s of Social Work program in a related counseling field. Catholic Charities offers supervision to obtain practicum and license certification hours.
Fluency in Spanish and English is a plus.
Available Internship hours:
Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
10-20 hours per week
Minimum of 1 year or 2 school semesters
