2021 Graduate Co-op – ISV Solution Sales Program Manager

Your Role and Responsibilities
This is a full-time co-op role starting in January 2021, for a term of 3- to 6-months. Applicants must be actively enrolled in a graduate-level degree program throughout the duration of the co-op term.
The ISV team under IBM Cloud and Cognitive Applications guides Independent Software Vendors (ISV) through the cloud transformation that is right for them based on industry trends and emerging technologies.
We are looking for a graduate-level ISV Solution Sales Program Manager co-op to join the team, who will analyze current business problems, provide insights, and offer recommendations for process improvements.
Responsibilities may include:
  • Analyze recent sales bids/proposals, and provide insights into current process
  • Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for enhancements
  • Create a standardized template to increase speed and quality of sales proposals
  • Work on other projects, as assigned, to analyze business problems and provide key insights and recommendations
This role may be for you if you show a proven track record of accomplishment in:
  • Evaluating critical business problems, including providing qualitative insights
  • Using your analytical, collaboration, and communication skills to provide quality recommendations to internal stakeholders
  • Driving important projects from discovery to delivery
  • Working in a fast-paced environment with rapid and continual changes
The role may be performed from anywhere in the U.S., though the ideal candidate will be able to work from our Manhattan location, once offices reopen. Candidates should be able to work at least 20 hours per week while school is in session, and 40 hours per week during school breaks.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Currently pursuing a graduate degree, preferably MBA
  • Experience in analyzing business problems and providing recommended solutions
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Knowledge of cloud computing technologies & market landscape
  • Knowledge of sales bids/proposals
  • Experience working for or with Independent Software Vendors
  • At least 1 year's experience in analyzing business problems
