Strategic Operations Intern (Summer 2021)

Job Description

Position Summary
This position will be responsible to create and populate a business database with intelligence related to our manufacturing sites through the collection of asset information, fulfillment models and the creation of value stream maps reflecting those models.
Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain a comprehensive project timeline to track all actions related to the scope of each sub-project
  • Responsible to maintain and secure the information and data related to the sub-project in SharePoint
  • Responsible to present project updates & progress to key stakeholders
  • Responsible to develop and nurture relationships with the designated manufacturing site liaison

Qualifications

Experience and Skill Required
  • Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration
  • The candidate must have basic MS tools knowledge (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and SharePoint, etc.)
  • The candidate must have basic Lean experience (experience in Value Stream mapping is a plus)
  • The candidate should have experience developing and maintaining action plans
  • Engineering or technical background is a plus
