Are you interested in an Internship opportunity with Philips? We welcome individuals who are currently pursuing an MBA degree to participate in a 3-month paid opportunity at our MN site. Through this role, you will gain meaningful, hands-on experience working for a leading global health technology company.
 
 
In this role, you have the opportunity to
 
 
·      Influence business plans and management communications by supporting summer internship project focused on key marketing priorities with the Peripheral Vascular (PV) business at Philips.
 
·      Complete an internship in which you will develop detailed strategies and tactics to support business results.
 
·      Gather information around product strategy, market opportunities and specific tactics to drive business opportunities for Philips PV segment.
 
·      Develop and present strategic and tactical marketing content to a range of PV segment cross-functional leadership.
 
·      Additionally, successful completion of the summer internship may lead to a full-time employment opportunity in the IGT Devices Management Development Program (MDP)
 
The MDP is designed for MBA candidates seeking to enhance their leadership skills and accelerate their career path towards a general management or functional leadership position in the medical technology industry. The program is comprised of:
 
o  Three functional rotation assignments completed over 2-3 years
o  One-on-one mentorship from senior executives
o  Personalized training and development curriculum
 
Each MDP candidate will be assigned a senior executive sponsor who will mentor the candidate throughout the program.
 
At the completion of the MDP, the candidate will work with their executive sponsor and the company to identify a suitable leadership opportunity within Philips.
 
 
 
You are responsible for
 
 
The successful candidate will be able to blend deep customer insights, strong organizational and technical experience, with an energizing communication style, to manage and be responsible for completing a strategic marketing project within our Philips IGTD Peripheral Vascular business. 
 
Leading a specific marketing project to ensure excellence in new product introductions, competitive analysis, other programs and marketing activities for an assigned product franchise. 
 
Examples of potential internship duties include:
 
·      Lead key project to develop or further refine product strategies
 
·      Build the business case for product line extensions and/or introductions
 
·      Create new and innovative communication, marketing and sales support activities and materials.
 
·      Immerse in a great culture that drives for responsiveness, sales engagement and world class marketing materials to serve physicians and PV patients globally.
 
·      Establish a culture of continuous improvement to drive efficiency in all marketing activities
 
·      Identify best practices and need for sales and marketing programs and processes and be the product champion for helping drive sales team buy in and partnership
 
 
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
 
 
·      Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business
·      Currently enrolled in MBA degree program
·      3+ years established work experience prior to MBA program enrollment
·      Previous marketing experience - required
·      Demonstrated ability to develop and implement key initiatives to deliver results
·      Demonstrated analytical, strategic, and communications skills
·      Knowledge of regulated medical products industry – nice to have
