Drafter Intern (Year Round)
SUMMARY
Assist engineers and designers with design tasks to ensure the smooth flow of operations within the engineering department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with engineering drawing, layout and/or electrical schematic preparation using computer aided design software.
- Assist with Bill of Material creation.
- Assist with the material selection for engineered parts.
- Assist with the creation of dimension and tolerance drawings to ensure proper assembly fit.
- Conforms to drafting standards and department policies.
- Assist with engineering change notice preparation.
MINMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Student working towards an Associate’s degree for entire duration of internship.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- GPA of 3.0 or greater
- Experience with CATIA or other CAD design software
