Intern, Commercial Management
This position will be full time during the Internship and part time during school!!
Summary – The Commercial Management Intern will help support the business improve processes through data input, monitoring and analysis. This position is responsible for engaging business leaders and system users to better understand how data is being collected and maintained in the various systems employed by Voith. The Commercial Management Intern will gain a strong understanding of reporting requirements as well as experience in forecasting, budgeting and financial analysis. This position will work under the direction of the Sr. Commercial Manager and work closely with the Business Analyst, Pricing Specialist and the Customer Service Manager.
Responsibilities –
- Salesforce. Aid in the start-up implementation of the Opportunity cube in Salesforce. This includes the gathering lead and opportunities from business leaders, Creating Salesforce opportunity records, maintaining the opportunity statuses while training the business leaders on the proper methods and rules as these tasks are handed over to the business leaders.
- 20/21 business forecasting. This position will help with 20/21 business forecasting, analysis and report creation.
- Pricing, gross margin and variance analysis. This position will help with the gross margin analysis and quoted pricing reporting.
- Fiscal Year End Planning and monitoring.
- Annual inventory audit. This position will help customer service with the annual inventory auditing and any other activity within the customer service area which requires assistance.
