CCO Manager/Process Engineer

CCO Manager/Process Engineer. C.R. Meyer and Sons Company. Oshkosh, WI. Responsible for providing mechanical engineering oversight for heavy industrial projects to ensure all construction services and industrial systems are designed, installed, tested, and operated and maintained. Responsible for performing and overseeing mechanical engineering duties in accordance with operational engineering requirements, standards, and applicable regulations and for providing technical commissioning oversight during construction and post-construction phases. Prepare mechanical engineering components of preliminary commissioning plans for heavy industrial projects for construction and post‐construction phases. Prepare and track project performance measurements to be used during construction and post‐construction phases. Create and communicate installation and functional testing checklists and procedures. Perform testing and quality control evaluations of systems as they are installed and completed. Coordinate construction checkout process and commissions/turnover systems after certification. Develop and deliver systems turnover packages and final commission reports. Work collaboratively with the Design/Build team and project management teams to clarify, define and ensure proper documentation of owner expectations and requirements in the planning and design phases. Review all design documents, plans, and specifications for compliance with project requirements. Act as an engineering resource to various project teams in preparing/reviewing Scopes of Work, evaluating proposals, and managing contracts. Work with vendors, employees, subcontractors, customer representatives, and other third parties in reviewing and monitoring design and construction plans. Review, document, and certify correction of identified concerns/deficiencies. Work as a strategic member of the overall project team, overseeing adherence to safety, project design, schedule, budget, quality, etc. Participate in project team meetings and work collaboratively with others to ensure projects remain on target within predetermined guidelines. Requires: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. 10 years of experience in any mechanical engineering position, including process design for industrial manufacturing roles. 5 years of experience managing high-value projects ($10 million+), including on-site construction, commissioning, and start-up. Demonstrated experience in design for pulp and paper industry, including process, piping, electrical and instrumentation, HVAC, and plumbing. Demonstrated ability to read and interpret all discipline drawings, including civil, structural, piping, power, and controls. Demonstrated experience preparing Scopes of Work, evaluating proposals, and managing contracts. Demonstrated project controls experience, including cost estimating and analysis and scheduling, including critical path, Cost Performance Index (CPI), and Schedule Performance Index (SPI). Successful passage of a drug screening test. Travel to domestic project site locations up to 75% of time. Mail résumé to HR, C.R.
