Technology Support Specialist
Huzzard Data Systems has an entry-level opening for a multi-talented Technology Support Specialist for someone interested in joining a fun culture and productive working environment . We will teach you any skills you may be lacking, assuming you have a solid foundation from which to build, and a demonstrated passion and attitude to learn, grow and succeed.
Responsibilities:
· Assist in identifying and creating data collection and printer hardware and software solutions with our clients and Huzzard App development team.
· Install and support Android hardware and software solutions – virtually and on-site.
· Manage simple service ticket process leading to successful closure of ticket.
· Document successful troubleshooting activities utilizing Word, Adobe PDF and Dropbox.
· Create and update User Manuals utilizing Word and Adobe PDF.
· Configure barcode scanners with custom settings by following a simple documented process.
Required Skills
· Ability to work with clients to troubleshoot and solve issues with hardware and software in a pleasant and efficient manner.
· Basic knowledge of Android, iOS and Windows platforms.
· Ability to research, test and recommend appropriate hardware and/or software solutions.
· Excellent written and verbal communication.
Helpful Skills
· Knowledge of USB and Serial (RS-232) connectivity.
· Knowledge of TCP/IP and 802.11/b/g/n wireless networking and Bluetooth connectivity.
· Knowledge of Barcode, NFC and RFID technologies.
· Experience with mobile computers, printers, and barcode scanners.
· Basic understanding of programming in Android, CSS, and PHP.
· Experience with web design, including WordPress design platform and plugins.
