Electrical Designer
EDL Packaging, A Massman Company has an exciting opening on their Electrical Engineering team for an Electrical Designer. We are open to entry-mid level skills and experience and is a great opportunity to break into the Packaging OEM environment! Every day is a challenge with a great amount of variety and autonomy.
We are seeking candidates with an Associate degree or higher, or equivalent experience that have 3-5 or more experience and skills in the following areas:
- Versed in AutoCAD Electrical
- Autodesk Vault Professional experience
- Experience in sizing fusing and wire gauge
- Able to do basic cabinet load and heating calculations
- Versed in UL, NEC and NFPA 79
- Excellent electrical schematic reading skills
- General understanding of electrical components (i.e.,fuses, drives, contactors, HMI’s, PLC’s)
- MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook
Our ideal candidate will have experience as follows:
- 3+ years’ experience in design of automated equipment and/or
- Packaging equipment design or experience preferred and/or
- 3+ years’ experience working in an OEM environment
