Primary Responsibilities:  
  • Serve as a medical professional to evaluate and provide a clear, comprehensive and concise review of Mental Health Examinations for the Veteran Services program. Act as a resource and communicate with internal entities inregards to the Veterans Service contracts involving mental health exams
  • Review Mental Health Examinations for the VA programs
  • Act as a resource and communicate with internal entities in regards to the VA contract
  • Assist Medical Director as a Subject Matter Expert on DBQs and engage operations in issue resolution
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited program with Ph.D./PsyD in Clinical Psychology or M.D./D.O. in Psychiatry with Mental Health background
  • 5 years Behavioral Health experience
  • Experience with Department of Veterans Affairs; previous military experience, military and/or veteran healthcare experience and knowledge of VA Compensation and Pension Examination process
  • Board Certified, if applicable
  • Active medical license from any state
  • Experience with identification and diagnosis of mood and anxiety disorder with a strong emphasis in Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
  • Experience with VA disability evaluations and ability to apply knowledge to VA process 
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to perform detailed work with a high degree of accuracy as well as the ability to demonstrate organizational skills and multi-tasking
  • Must be able to prioritize tasks and work independently
 
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Work onsite with Medical teams, but remote opportunities would be considered.
  • National Career Readiness Certificate
