Finance/Accounting Internship
As a Finance Intern you will work together with our finance management team on various topics including accounting, controlling, financing and investor relations. You will play an important role in preparing financial statements, budgets and investor presentations. The position is available starting this summer and the minimum amount of time you should spend with us is two months.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing the audit PBC list and follow up with stakeholders on audit deliverables.
- Assist in the preparation of the financial statements and the related footnote disclosures (e.g.: 10-K and 10-Q) and support the preparation of the annual proxy statement
- Assist in the preparation of the financial statements supporting schedules and roll forwards
- Assist with general accounting year-end closing procedures
- Assist with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance testing
- Complete special projects as needed and other duties assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Undergraduate of Accounting, actively working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting.
- Satisfactory completion of introductory accounting courses and a basic understanding of accounting and financial principles
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
