Manufacturing Engineer 2020 Summer Intern
JOB DESCRIPTION
AROW Global is currently looking to add a Manufacturing Engineer Intern for the summer of 2020. The Manufacturing Engineer Intern will assist the Engineering Team with various tasks.
- Learn and use Solidworks CAD, design and create assembly fixtures, jigs, aids, and templates
- Evaluate production procedures and assess for improvements
- Setup and perform time studies on manufacturing procedures
- Utilize 3D printer for prototyping and fixture component creation
- Partake in 5S and Continuous Improvement activities
- Assist in the design and creation of new workstations
- Perform testing and trials on new production methods
- Document current packaging standards and methods
- Develop improved packaging methods for a variety of products
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIRED SKILLS
- Student working towards a Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university with a sophomore standing or higher
- Mechanical or Manufacturing focus
- Ability to multi-task and manage several
