Traffic Coordinator

OVERVIEW:
FOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in nine of the top ten largest designated market areas (DMAs), and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce nearly 1,000 hours of local news every week. These stations leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for the FOX Network’s national content.





JOB TITLE:      Traffic Coordinator
Fox6-WITI, Milwaukee’s #1 news station and most hours of local news, is looking for a Traffic Coordinator to join our team. This position works independently performing a wide range of complex administrative and clerical duties to support programs, events, forums, and the business unit. The Traffic Coordinator must be able to communicate and interact with various station personnel while providing services to a wide range of internal and external contacts. The coordinator must be able to anticipate and resolve problems and effectively communicate updates to management. This individual will coordinate specific tasks related to various functions or programs for the department/business unit.

RESPONSIBILITIES:                  
The traffic coordinator must have proficiency organizing and maintaining administrative systems and procedures for the department while performing necessary support duties. The traffic coordinator serves as the source of information on established department projects or functions. Must be able to draft, edit and prepare accurate correspondence, reports and other material using Microsoft Office products and various company databases and systems. Responsible for facilitating smooth day-to-day flow of communications within the department. May act as a liaison on related projects with other departments or outside vendors/clients.

QUALIFICATIONS:                    
Requires strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, accuracy and
attention to detail. Must be able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. Intermediate MS
Office experience required, to include Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook. High school
diploma required, college degree preferred.
