Supply Chain internship

This position is responsible for providing technical and/or administrative support to the assigned function for the duration of the project.

 

·      Primary project participation activities may include research, data entry/analysis, development of draft communications, testing and auditing.

·      Performs various technical and/or administrative activities to support the assigned function(s).

·      Intern may work in Strategic Sourcing/Procurement, Supply Chain/Operations, Marketing, Finance, Human Resources or another major division.

·      Understands and demonstrates Essendants' Core Values.

·      Performs other duties as assigned.

 

·      Solid research and project management skills.

·      Ability to communicate and interface with multiple levels of USI management.

·      Time management and organization skills.

·      Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

·      Solid teamwork skills.

·      Bachelor’s Degree required; advanced degree work is beneficial.

·      Prior research and internship experience preferred.

·      US citizenship or permanent residency required.

·      For out-of-state candidates: Must be willing to relocate to the Chicago area.
