Strategic Sourcing Senior Manager

The Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing – Corporate reports to the Vice President of Procurement and is responsible for driving value and leading innovation within the Corporate Functions (IT/HR/Finance/Marketing/Professional Services categories). This role has a unique opportunity to create a vision, strategy and tangible impact within our categories of corporate spend and will gain significant visibility to many senior leaders in our corporate headquarters. In addition to strategy and vision, we are seeking a candidate with strong leadership capabilities to lead a team of two strategic sourcing professionals. Come create your experience of a lifetime!
ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Create and execute multi-year category strategies for corporate spend through a data driven approach utilizing spend analytics to generate insight.
  • Develop cost reduction targets and oversee execution of initiatives. Report procurement savings and program compliance, inclusive of tracking savings to the P&L.
  • Demonstrate extensive professional knowledge of and experience with negotiation to advise the business; direct and secure the best outcome for the company, and direct complex and critical negotiations.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with other business units to identify and implement savings initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement in all aspects of supplier performance, business adoption, and technology enhancements.

BACKGROUND REQUIRED
  • Outstanding academic credentials; Bachelor’s degree required (prefer Supply Chain Management or equivalent degree)
  • MBA or graduate finance degree preferred, and/or professional procurement certification (such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM)
  • At least 7 years of progressive experience in Supply Chain / Procurement / Purchasing experience with responsibility for indirect spend categories, including experience in developing category strategies
  • Experience sourcing and developing relationships with outside suppliers
  • Demonstrated project management experience
  • Demonstrated success at increasing team and employee engagement
