Merchandising Intern

 

Jump start your future with an internship at a growing eCommerce company. As our merchandising intern, you’ll have the opportunity to put your creative and analytical skills to work learning the principals of eCommerce visual merchandising while collaborating with other departments like Marketing and Web-Development to create unique customer experiences. In addition to training on cutting edge systems to manage product data and on-site experience, you will also learn how to interpret sales and product data and use those insights to ultimately drive sales and profitability.

 

·      Work within our product information system to ensure accuracy of customer facing data as well as create product associations to drive cross-sell/up-sell opportunities and build curated product collections

·      Work to maximize gross profit by supporting our private label collection, running pricing analysis and building assortments

·      Train in DynamicAction and utilize it daily to understand sales fluctuations

·      Assist in the creation of on-site search and sort strategies and implement with our search partners

·      Partner with Marketing to build landing pages and eCommerce assets to support various campaigns.

·      Manage weekly and month reporting for strategic vendor partners

·      Assist with special projects and reporting as needed

·      Preferred Education & Experience

·      Currently enrolled in a 4 year university, Marketing and Merchandising program focus is preferred

·      Proficient in Excel

·      Excellent oral and written communication skills

·      Curiosity about eCommerce best practices and a knack for data analysis

·      Hard-working and ambitious self-starter who can work both independently and as a part of a team
