Chief of Law and Justice Section at the OSCE Mission in Kosovo
The OSCE Mission in Kosovo is seeking a Chief of Law and Justice Section (VNKOSS002225), a Middle Manager with graduate degree in law or law enforcement; with 10+ years of experience in criminal justice and the practice of law, e.g. judges, prosecutors, lawyers, including 3+ years in management. Post requires knowledge of courtroom proceedings, criminal law and procedure; of international or European law and legal procedure standards and human rights instruments; experience in drafting, editing and commenting legal documents; project and staff management; organizational, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills; professional fluency in English. Post requires demonstrated ability to work with people of different cultural and religious backgrounds, different genders, and diverse political views while maintaining impartiality and objectivity. Desirable: previous work experience with international organizations or bilateral donors on human rights and rule of law compliance in the region and/or field.
