Adoption Services Supervisor

The Wisconsin Department of Children and Families (DCF), Division of Safety and Permanence, Bureau of Permanence and Out-of-Home Care is currently recruiting to fill a Adoption Services Supervisor position in Madison, WI. The position is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and monitoring of specialized adoption and permanency program initiatives advanced by the Bureau of Permanence and Out-of-Home Care (BPOHC) and to provide additional support, guidance and direction related to the use of child welfare data and information to evaluate and enhance program initiatives led by the Bureau. The position supervises seven professional staff within the BPOHC Adoption and Interstate Services Section and oversees specialized program initiative contracts for which Unit staff have program initiative responsibilities.

The position coordinates with and ensures alignment of related adoption and permanency activities and responsibilities within the Bureau and across the Division programs and with other DCF Program Divisions. This position works directly other DCF staff from Finance, Budget and IT to support the successful development, implementation and monitoring of identified adoption and permanency initiatives. Finally, this position will be responsible for ensuring appropriate and necessary collaboration with other key stakeholders, such as other state agencies, researchers, and other critical entities such as county and tribal agencies, as well as provider and advocacy agencies, integral to the development, implementation, evaluation and monitoring of the specialized adoption and permanency initiatives advanced by the Division.
