Peacebuilding Coordinator- Burundi
The Burundi Peacebuilding Coordinator coordinates the Great Lakes Peacebuilding Institute (GLPI) and supports peacebuilding work in the MCC Rwanda/Burundi program. GLPI is a growing organization that trains peace practitioners from the broader region through its annual October Institute as well as special modules throughout the year. MCC’s peacebuilding work includes supporting regional reconciliation and peacebuilding networks; supporting peace clubs and other community peacebuilding infrastructure; and coordinating with other MCC Africa peacebuilding staff in order to expand and deepen the impact of MCC-supported peace work on the continent.
