Product Marketing Intern (Summer 2020)

About the Role
The Product Marketing Intern will have the opportunity to work on some of the key aspects of the product marketing function, such as market analysis, content creation, marketing event support, lead generation and enablement.

Job Responsibilities/Projects
  • Market research: Analysis of relevant on-line community forums such as Reddit and Spiceworks. Analyze trends in prospects and customers’ needs and questions and perception of different endpoint vendors competitors mentioned in the past 12 months. Analysis of comments. Result of survey to be used Allow to prioritize future product marketing content creation and activities.
  • Non-technical competitive research: Research a specific type of asset, or product positioning across competitors - collect, review and analyze positioning, structure, content. Deliver report.
  • Sales enablement: Assist in the creation of at least one sales enablement asset relevant to a topic, product launch or announcement that are relevant at the time of the internship.
  • Asset creation: Create a least one asset such as a white paper, training module, blog, solution brief, depending on relevant topics and need at the time of the internship.
  • Inventory and review existing marketing content 
  • Marketing event support (such as BlackHat in Las Vegas in August)

What You’ll Need 

  • Pursuing a degree (Undergrad / Masters) in either Business, Marketing, Communications
  • A positive attitude towards work, excitement to take on new responsibilities and is able to fulfill and finish the tasks assigned to them.
  • Knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Be organized with great attention to details
  • Be a self-Starter that is able to work independently once given clear objectives, the necessary context to be successful.
  • The ability to write and express ideas clearly is also key to the success of this role.
