Fremont County School District #6 (FCSD6), Pavillion, Wyoming, is accepting applications for a superintendent of schools. The successful candidate should demonstrate successful teaching, management, administrative and instructional leadership skills and possess high moral character to inspire and lead a school district that expects and supports a comprehensive educational program for its students. Salary will be not less than $110,000 and include a comprehensive benefits package.

Fremont County is located in central Wyoming. The FCSD6 district offices are located in the town of Pavillion. The district also serves the communities of Crowheart, Kinnear, and Morton. The district encompasses a geographic area in excess of 1,200 square miles that is sparsely populated. The student population is approximately 25% Native American and 75% Caucasian. The major industries for the area are farming and ranching, oil production, and natural gas production. The district is set in the heart of the Wind River Mountain Range, 102 miles from Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Park. Local recreational activities include hiking, fishing, boating, camping, hunting, skiing, snowmobiling, and more.
