About the position:
As an AMOpportunities Partnerships intern, you will be exposed to the processes associated with international partnerships. You will be responsible for research-based tasks associated with the partnership development processes and providing support to our partnership leadership. The position is remote to start but we are looking for candidates to be Illinois residents. This is a part-time paid internship scheduled to start in March. The position is remote to start but hope to return to an office setting when safe. We are looking for candidates to be Illinois residents.
 
Essential Functions: 
  • Provide support to the partnerships department 
  • Creating a list and active directory of key personal at every medical school in the world outside of US 
  • Compile, synthesize and analyze research collected from secondary sources 
  • Provide insight into the specific markets to facilitate targeting outreach 
  • Attend partnership presentations and develop personal presentation skills 
  • Collaborate with leadership on partner presentation 
  • Organize data in systems to improve the accessibility of information 
  • Learn and use in-house systems: Hubspot, Pipedrive, Trello, OneDrive, etc. 
  • Attend team meetings as a thought-contributor 
  • Attend, take notes, and suggest insights to improve partner presentations 
 
Skills/Experience: 
  • Marketing/research experience in international markets and/or in the medical field preferred 
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus 
  • High initiative, flexibility, and team approach to work 
  • Quick learner with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively 
  • Strong internet research skills preferred 
  • Proficient in Microsoft and Google applications 
  • Self-starter and results-oriented with the ability to focus on and meet deadlines and goals 
  • Exceptional time-management organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks 
  • Possess good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with others
