Anticipated Start Date: 01/02/2020; 3- or 4-week duration
PPC’s Process Control Intern will be responsible for updating and streamlining existing documentation and policies. This position will also assist the Supply Chain Manager and Quality Coordinator with daily production data entry. Gain on the job experience maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and documentation controls. Ability to job shadow and explore the daily operations of a tissue converting facility. This position is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to build their resume skills and develop strong professional references.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Documentation
- Streamline and update company documentation and policies to ensure compliance with ISO, NSF and BRC Standards.
- Create and update existing in-process forms
- Develop and create visual case packing and stacking diagrams to assist production operations
Quality Control
- Inventory and log materials that have been quarantined
- Review and manage in-process QA data sheets
- Collect and maintain customer retain samples
Data Entry
- Submit quality and production numbers to customers
- Maintain daily production and waste data entry
KEY COMPETENCIES:
Excellent technical writing skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to independently and efficiently manage time
Highly organized and detail oriented
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma
Currently working towards an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree
EXPERIENCE:
Proficient in Microsoft Suite, Required
Completed at least one semester of college writing, Preferred
Adobe Suite – Illustrator, Preferred
